A Note from Tami to Returning Clients
If you have plans to update or reprint* a previous edition of your book, please read!
We use Adobe software to create your books and as of January 2023, Adobe has dropped all support for Postscript Type 1 fonts. This means the majority of fonts used in older files will no longer be usable. As a result, updating books created with these fonts will require replacing fonts. This may require purchasing an updated version of that font or we may have to choose a different font altogether. We are gradually replacing fonts in our libraries, but there will be fonts that are simply no longer available. If that happens, your book would need a complete font replacement. In all cases, this transition will cause the text to reflow. We will provide an hourly estimate for this process based on each individual book. Proofreading will be necessary.
*This will not affect a reprint if there are already press-ready PDF files
available and no changes are necessary.
